
- Eat as many vegetables as possible.
- Avoid white rice and pasta
- Use whole wheat that will help tremendously.
- Regular exercise will not only help to maintain blood sugar levels but will help keep body weight down.
- Eat foods that are high in protein can help lower blood sugar. Protein foods include animal products, such as meat, as well as dairy, like eggs and milk.
- For treating Type 2 Diabetes- •Take half a teaspoon of Cinnamon powder each morning for 40 days.
- Try to eat every color from whole foods each day to control high blood sugar levels. Excellent vegetables include artichoke, black beans, cabbage, carrots, cucumber, garlic, lettuce, onion, radish, string beans, tomatos, spinach, squash, turnip, and brown rice.

- Add 3-table spoon of cinnamon to 1 litre of boiling water. Simmer for 20 minutes in a low flame, and then strain the mixture. Drink this mixture daily to cure diabetes.
- Eat tender curry leaves (fresh) twice a day to reduce sugar.
- Take the juice of crushed fish-berry (amruth) soaked in water for a day first thing in the morning.
- Prepare a mixture by adding equal quantities of turmeric powder and dried gooseberry powder with honey or drink equal quantities of gooseberry juice and fresh turmeric juice in an empty stomach daily.
- Dalchini ((Cinnamonum zeylancium) is also an effective herbal remedies for diabetes.
- Bitter melon is wonderful herb in treating diabetes mellitus.
